The Minorities in Agriculture Coalition was founded by John W. Boyd, Jr. to promote research, policy advocacy, and participation for minority farmers, ranchers, growers, producers, and agricultural communities across the United States.
Founder and President
John W. Boyd, Jr. serves as Founder and President of the Minorities in Agriculture Coalition. His leadership reflects a long-standing commitment to protecting family farmers, expanding access to agricultural programs, and ensuring minority producers have a strong voice in policy and economic development.
Minorities in Agriculture Coalition is a tax-exempt 501(c)(4) social welfare organization.
The Minorities in Agriculture Coalition works to promote agricultural research, policy advocacy, economic stability, and increased participation of minority farmers, ranchers, growers, and producers in agricultural programs at the local, state, and national levels.
As a 501(c)(4) organization, MIA Coalition may engage in advocacy and lobbying activities in support of its mission to advance agricultural equity, civil rights protections, access to capital, land retention, food sovereignty, and fair agricultural policies for minority producers.
Contributions to Minorities in Agriculture Coalition are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
