The mission of the Minorities in Agriculture Coalition is to promote research and development in agricultural programs, advocate for agricultural policies that protect and strengthen minority farmers, ranchers, and producers, and increase minority involvement at the local, state, and national levels.

Research & Development

Promoting agricultural innovation, technical assistance, sustainability, access to capital, land retention, value-added production, and market opportunities.

Policy & Legislation

Advocating for national, state, and local policies that provide economic stability, civil rights protections, fair lending, disaster assistance, and debt relief.

Minority Participation

Encouraging minorities to participate in agricultural programs, conservation efforts, cooperative development, food sovereignty, and leadership opportunities.
